Ejike Uzoenyi Delighted With National Team Recall

Enugu Rangers winger Ejike Uzoenyi is delighted with his return to the Nigeria National Team, after he was named by manager Stephen Keshi in the roster for the exhibition match against Jordan on October 28.
The former Rennes man has not been invited to the national team since the conclusion of the African Cup of Nations.
Speaking about his invitation and thoughts on the upcoming friendly, Uzoenyi said :“I am excited, it always feel good if you find yourself in the Super Eagles camp.
“I think we stand a chance against the Jordanians. The important thing is to understand what the coaches want us to do and with the help of God, we can win this match.”
25 - year - old Ejike Uzoenyi last played for the Super Eagles against Mali in the semi - final of the African Cup.
