Toronto Striker Bright Dike Promises To Give 100 Percent
Published: November 14, 2013
Toronto FC attacker Bright Dike says he is ready to help Nigeria qualify for the Brazil 2014 World Cup.
26 - year - old Dike is famous in his homeland for scoring in a pre - Nations Cup friendly against a Catalonia selection.
Coach Stephen Keshi did not shortlist him for the tournament in South Africa.
But the Super Eagles manager has corrected that wrong after he named the striker as a late replacement for crocked Uche Nwofor of SC Heerenveen as Nigeria prepare to trade tackles with Ethiopia.
“I will try my best to make the game and give 100% to see that I help take Nigeria to Brazil 2014,” says Bright Dike to Brila FM.
The physical forward made his debut for Nigeria exactly a year ago in the 3 - 1 victory over Venezuela.
