Okaka Hoping Mihajlovic Remains At Sampdoria
Published: May 17, 2014
Speaking before the Serie A tie between Sampdoria and Udinese on Saturday night, Stefano Okaka has hinted that he would continue playing for the Blucerchiati next season as long as there is no managerial change.
His fine form for the Genoa based side, whom he joined in the January transfer window, has not gone unnoticed by teams outside Italy, with Galatasaray reportedly readying a bid for him when the market officially opens.
“Mihajlovic? I can only say that we had a great second round and I hope he stays again next year.
“Me and the coach, we have a special relationship so in the end we will also talk about my future,” the former Italy youth - teamer told Sky Sport Italia.
He opened scoring for Sampdoria in the 3 - 3 draw with Udinese at Stadio Communale Friuli (Udine).
