Osho Targets First Win As Supreme Court FC Seek Tornadoes Revenge
Published: May 30, 2014
As the week 17 matches get underway in the Nigeria National League (NNL) this weekend, new Supreme Court FC technical adviser, Coach Fatai Osho has stated that his team would aim to secure maximum points when Niger Tornadoes come calling on Sunday.
Though the visitors had in the first stanza of the season snatched a controversial win over Supreme Court FC in Minna, the Apex Boys as the Abuja-based club are fondly called will hope to salvage nothing short of victory in a return leg fixture scheduled at Area 3 playing ground in Abuja as from 4pm.
Ahead of the encounter, coach Osho who has since swung into action shortly after his appointment made it clear that he was determined to start getting results for his side.
“My aim is to get maximum points against Niger Tornadoes on Sunday. I have already started working with my team and we have made gradually progress. We need to put on winning mentality and it has start with the next game.
“We are hoping to have a good match against our visitors and from there and we will take it up from there. So far, my players are responding to instructions and I believe they should replicate same on the pitch.
“At the moment, my central defender Sarki Salami is down with malaria and I hope he recovers before our match on Sunday.” Coach Osho told reporters.
