Published: June 11, 2014
Watford are amongst a number of clubs thought to be in Spain and England interested in snapping up Odion Ighalo from Udinese.
With his contract at the Little Zebras set to expire at the end of next season, Udinese chiefs will not stop his departure in order for the club to recoup some of their previous investments on the player.
Norwegian agent, Atta Aneke, told SL10.ng : “That’s what we are working towards, to have several options. There’s no concrete country right now but he is a player that is interesting to several leagues.
“We are willing to listen to offers from different leagues, not just Spain or England.”
24 - year - old Odion Ighalo was courted by Watford last summer but a deal failed to materialize.
It is confirmed the striker is now in possession of an Italian passport and the major benefit in sporting terms is that he will bypass the red tape rule in most of the European Leagues.
