Stephen Keshi Says No Plans To Man - mark Edin Dzeko
Published: June 21, 2014
Nigeria manager, Stephen Keshi, has hinted that there are no plans to man - mark Bosnia and Herzegovina attacker Edin Dzeko, stressing that there are 10 other players in the squad apart from the Manchester City star.
“He is not Bosnia, plays well, but with others in December If I’m going to be worried about it, I worry about the whole team.
“He will not pick up the ball from the line of defense and get to our field.
“My concern is how my players will go out tomorrow and try to win as Bosnia,” Stephen Keshi said at a press conference before the Super Eagles held their final training session on Friday.
Stephen Keshi is aware of the fact that even a draw at Arena Pantanal on Saturday evening will not help the country’s quest to progress to the knock out rounds.
“We have to play well to secure the three points. I Respect the team of Bosnia, but we must do our part. We will try to implement that plan tomorrow and we’ll see what happens,” he added.
