Exclusive: Former Arsenal Youth - Teamer, Emmanuel Adewole Bids Farewell To Sheikh Russel KC
Published: June 21, 2014
Former Arsenal youth - teamer, Emmanuel Adewole, has chosen not to extend his contract with 2013 Bangladeshi Premier League champions Sheikh Russel KC.
Remember that the Anglo - Nigerian forward signed a short term contract until the end of the season with the capital outfit in March, with an additional season inserted into the deal.
“After speaking with the club president and our new Serbian coach it was clear our objectives are different and I have to seek other options before locking myself into a contract extension that will not benefit me.
“There have been a lot of offers come in from all over the place so I’ll speak to my agent and family and decide what’s best for my career going forward,” Emmanuel Adewole said to allnigeriasoccer.com.
Emmanuel Adewole is currently studying proposals from clubs based in Czech Republic, Romania, Turkey, Greece and the UAE.
The interest from European teams is a welcome development as he intends to continue his career there instead of a club based in Asia.
