Ahmed Musa : We Need To Be At Our Best
Published: June 29, 2014
Ahead of the clash with France, CSKA Moscow attacker Ahmed Musa has advised that the Super Eagles have to take the bull by the horns if the team is to advance to the last of the eight of the World Cup for the first time in three attempts.
“We need to defend well, take our chances up front and learn from the Argentina game.
“In the second round, it’s winner takes all. I know with hard work and God’s support we shall make history.
“But prayers without hard work is nothing, so we need to be at our best against France to make it happen,” says the former Kano Pillars star.
The 21 - year - old etched his name in Nigeria folklore by being the first player to score two goals in a match at the mundial, netting in the 4th and 47th minute against Argentina.
