MS Ashdod Want One Million Dollars For Juwon Oshaniwa
Published: July 04, 2014
From every indication, Nigeria international Juwon Oshaniwa might depart his Israeli team MS Ashdod before the close of the summer transfer market.
The left back put himself in the shop window at the ongoing World Cup, where he started every single game contested by the African champions.
And given that the 23 - year - old was supposed to act as backup to Elderson Echiejile until that unfortunate injury ruled the Monaco fullback out of the World Cup, he passed that impromptu test with flying colours.
According to Sports Walla, the leadership of the Dolphins will not turn down an offer from an interested European club in the region of one million dollars.
Should Juwon Oshaniwa remain at the Yud-Alef Stadium next season, he is likely to be frozen out by manager Nir Klinger, with Israel youth - teamer Amir Ben-Shimon expected to be the preferred left back.
Oshaniwa has contractual obligations with MS Ashdod until June 30, 2016.
