Exclusive - Agent : Sporting Lisbon In Talks With Kano Pillars Over Transfer Of Abdullahi Shehu

Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that Primeira Liga heavyweights Sporting Lisbon have set the wheels in motion for the transfer of Kano Pillars defensive midfielder Abdullahi Shehu this summer.
And according to the 21 - year - old’s bonafide agent, Ken Van Deyck, who has exclusive representation agreement with his client, talks between the Nigeria champions and the 18 - time champions of Portugal have kick - started.
The highly sought - after defensive midfielder has been linked with concrete moves to Al Orubah (Saudi Arabia) and Al Qadsia SC (Kuwait), but as things stand now, Sporting Lisbon have leapfrogged both Arabian teams in the race for his signature.
“At the moment the negotiation is between Sporting Lisbon and Kano Pillars. Once an agreement is found between the clubs, we can discuss the length of contract and the player’s wages. We are still discussing with Kano Pillars for his transfer fee.
“We have interest from Germany, Belgium and Croatia apart from Sporting Lisbon,”Ken Van Deyck, a Belgian agent who is registered at Nigeria Football Federation and Swiss Federation, told allnigeriasoccer.com.
