Exclusive : Hotshot Osaguona Ighodaro Staying Put At Enugu Rangers
Published: July 09, 2014
Enugu Rangers forward Osaguona Ighodaro has vowed to remain at the club until the end of this season, despite attracting interest from teams based in the Nigeria Premier League and abroad.
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that the marksman was courted by the likes of Enyimba, Sunshine Stars, Warri Wolves, Lobi Stars, Nasarawa United and an unnamed team in Israel this summer before he decided it was best he stayed put at the Flying Antelopes.
“I will remain with Enugu Rangers for now. I believe every club in Nigeria is almost the same; only the environment is different.
“Except an offer comes from Europe, I will remain with Rangers. Interested (local) teams are still calling me but I am not ready to change clubs,” says Osaguona Ighodaro to allnigeriasoccer.com.
The former Etoile Sahel target is among the Enugu Rangers contingent currently on the way to Abuja for the Federation Cup round of 32 clash against Giwa FC.
The domestic transfer window will close for business exactly a week from today.
