Published: July 15, 2014
Borrowing a page from the famous statement of Arthur Brisbane, a picture is worth a thousand words.
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that the proposed move of Abdullahi Shehu to Sporting Lisbon is on the brink of collapse after the Kano Pillars defensive midfielder was unveiled by Qadsia Sport Club.
The big question is whether his transfer to the Kuwaiti champions will be sanctioned by Kano Pillars, as the player traveled to the Middle East without the blessing of the club.
“We have been waiting for Abdullahi Shehu to return to the club. We do not know where he is. The truth is Qadsia never negotiated directly with Kano Pillars.
“The transfer can not be formalized when he has not been issued an International Transfer Certificate,” a Kano Pillars insider told allnigeriasoccer.com :
Last month, the Nigeria B international traveled to Saudi Arabia to pen a deal with Al Orubah, but the transfer did not materialize in the long run.
Abdullahi Shehu has been handed the number 21 jersey by Qadsia SC.
