Published: August 08, 2014
MS Ashdod are hoping to sell Juwon Oshaniwa at a premium before the transfer window slams its doors for business.
The Nigeria international, who has resumed pre - season training with the Israeli club, would be relegated to the bench if he does not get a new employer on or before the next three weeks.
The left back has been speaking about his experience with the Super Eagles in Brazil, where he started all the four games contested by the African champions, following the injury sustained by Elderson Echiejile prior to the tournament.
“It was an extraordinary experience in Brazil, especially when I played in front of Messi. Now need to leverage on my career and for the team in Europe,” Juwon Oshaniwa was quoted as saying by Sports Walla.
Juwon Oshaniwa is unlikely to make the first eleven in Ashdod’s first game of the season against Hapoel Beer Sheva, which is tentatively fixed for Saturday, August 9.
