It has now been revealed the duration of contract that Swiss - Nigerian striker Innocent Emeghara penned with Azerbaijani club Qarabag.
Contrary to earlier reports, the ex Siena and Lorient man has signed a deal that will run out in the summer of 2017.
It is assumed that Innocent Emeghara still has a lot of admirers in Europe, and the Azerbaijani champions have offered him a long- term deal so they can recoup some of their investment if they sell him to an interested suitor in the near future.
Despite arriving the Horsemen as a free agent, the rosters for the Europa League has been freezed by the governing body of European Football, UEFA.
Thus, the 25 - year - old will not feature in the competition except Qarabag qualify for the knock out rounds.
For the 2014 - 2015 campaign, the Switzerland international has been handed the number 8 kit.
