Three months into the season, Bartholomew Ogbeche is one goal shy of equaling his record number of goals in a single - season, which he set while defending the colours of Segunda Division side Cadiz back in 2010.
The Nigeria international scored for the eighth time this term in the Eredivisie after hitting target in the 82nd minute as Cambuur defeated FC Utrecht 3 - 1 in the 13th round.
Prior to today’s encounter, Ogbeche was the third leading scorer in the Dutch top division, with only two goals separating him from top marksman Michael Kramer of ADO Den Haag.
The ex PSG and Middlesbrough forward has netted 7 goals in his last 10 matches, including his brace against Dordrecht in October.
