Published: December 08, 2014
Nigeria B international Joshua Obaje has expressed delight at scoring his first goal for ASO Chlef in their 1 - 1 draw with USM Bel Abbès this past weekend.
And he has stressed that he was not under any pressure from the technical crew to open his goalscoring account.
Before ending his goal drought, the former Warri Wolves striker had appeared in nine matches for the Algerian side in the Ligue 1.
“No, I was not under any pressure to score because they believe in my qualities. It’s just that the goals refused to come.
“God has given me this and by His grace it will continue,” Joshua Obaje said to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“I want to thank God for the goal. I dedicate the goal to my former teammate in Warri Wolves Ogagatewho Oke for his new bouncing baby girl, and congratulations to Mr and Mrs Oke.”
