Super Eagles Survive Early Scare To Defeat NYSC

The Super Eagles defeated NYSC 5 - 2 in a scrimmage ahead of the national team’s exhibition matches against Ivory Coast and Sudan later this month.
The Daniel Amokachi - led side trailed the opponents with two minutes gone in the game after Omefe Ifeanyi’s opener.
Mfon Udoh, who topped the goalscoring chart last season, restored parity for the soon - to - be deposed African champions.
The Eagles were shell- shocked in the sixth minute after Eugene Utom restored NYSC’s one - goal advantage.
Before the end of the first half, Enyimba play-maker Kingsley Sokari scored twice and Udoh added another goal.
