Allnigeriasoccer.com provides a recap of how Nigeria internationals fared in Premier League action on Sunday, October 26.
At the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal extended their winning run to seven matches in all competitions with a 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace, courtesy of a decisive strike from former Super Eagles invitee Eberechi Eze, who scored against his former club.
In the closing stages, Palace manager Oliver Glasner made a triple substitution in the first minute of stoppage time, introducing Christantus Uche among the changes.
The versatile midfielder, who joined from Getafe on deadline day, made his third Premier League appearance.
Over at the Vitality Stadium, Sean Dyche's first Premier League game in charge of Nottingham Forest ended in a 2-0 defeat to Bournemouth, who climbed to second place in the standings.
First-half goals from Marcus Tavernier and Junior Kroupi secured the Cherries' 100th Premier League victory.
Taiwo Awoniyi featured for the entire second half after replacing Igor Jesus at the interval.
At Molineux Stadium, Wolverhampton Wanderers remain the only side yet to register a win in the Premier League this season following a 3-2 loss to Burnley.
Despite falling 2-0 behind inside 30 minutes through a Zian Flemming brace, Wolves rallied before the break, levelling the score via Jorgen Strand Larsen and Marshall Munetsi.
Chasing a winner late on, Vítor Pereira introduced Tolu Arokodare with six minutes to play, but it was Burnley substitute Lyle Foster who struck in stoppage time to seal all three points for the Clarets.
Uche, Arokodare and Awoniyi are still searching for their first goal or assist in the Premier League this season.
