With a statement on the official website, Danish First Division club AGF have informed that they have mutually terminated the contract of Edafe Egbedi, six months before the agreement was due to run out.
At the start of the 2014 - 2015 campaign, the ex Flying Eagles winger was shipped out on loan to second - tier Skive IK, having failed to establish himself at the NRGi Park, Aarhus.
Edafe Egbedi penned a three - and - a - half year contract with The Whites in January 2012 after putting himself in the shop window at the Fifa Under 20 World Cup staged in Colombia five months earlier.
Since completing that move, the former Nigeria Under 17 international managed only 7 appearances in the Superliga before the team were relegated at the end of last season.
In addition, Edafe Egbedi played seven games for Skive IK before the loan agreement with AGF expired.
