Bartholomew Ogbeche Poor Disciplinary Record A Cause For Concern
Published: February 08, 2015
Once - upon - a - time Nigeria international Bartholomew Ogbeche took the walk of shame on Sunday afternoon as Cambuur lost 2 - 1 away to Feyenoord in the Eredivisie.
While the ex PSG striker has caught the eyes of many this season, having netted 11 goals in all competitions, his disciplinary record has been far from impressive.
Indeed, Ogbeche had been cautioned seven times prior to the clash at Stadion Feijenoord in Rotterdam.
The 30 - year - old received his marching orders from referee Kevin Blom for a rash challenge on Anass Achahbar in the 57th minute.
He was yellow carded in games against Vitesse (2), NAC Breda, Utrecht, Ajax, Heerenveen and the first round fixture against Feyenoord.
On a negative note, the forward has already surpassed the 6 cautions he picked up while defending the colours of Cadiz back in 2010, and there are still 12 games yet to be decided excluding the play - offs.
