Maccabi Netanya Offer Olarenwaju Kayode To Maccabi Tel Aviv
Published: February 15, 2015
According to reports in Israel, Maccabi Netanya have offered Olarenwaju Kayode to champions Maccabi Tel Aviv, despite the Israeli transfer window being closed for business.
The Diamonds are in danger of running out of working capital unless they sell the former Flying Eagles striker to a club overseas where the transfer window is still open, for example Romania, Russia and Ukraine.
Alternatively, Kayode could be sold to Maccabi Tel Aviv in the next few day while the striker remains on their books until the end of the season.
And that is subject to The Yellows meeting his 600,000 euros price - tag, which must be paid immediately, with a view to a transfer in the summer.
Maccabi Netanya chiefs are hoping that Kayode’s two goals against Maccabi Tel Aviv last weekend will be their trump card in negotiations.
