Osmanlispor Say No To Samson Siasia Over Aminu Umar
Published: April 07, 2015
Osmanlispor striker Aminu Umar will not take part in the All Africa Games qualifier against Zambia, the Nigeria Football Federation has confirmed via its official webpage.
In the press release written by Nigeria Under 23s media officer, Timi Ebikagboro, he confirmed that FC Midtjylland loanee Paul Onuachu will not be on the plane to Lusaka because his Danish club had not released him.
But Samson Siasia and his coaching staff did not suffer rejection all the way, with Albanian side FK Apollonia sanctioning Atanda Sodiq Ololade’s trip to Africa despite being one of their most important players in defense.
Enyimba duo Peter Onyekachi and Kingsley Sokari have rejoined the team after continental duty with the Aba side, and both are expected to part in training on Tuesday, having missed yesterday’s workout due to fatigue.
The Dream Team VI will jet out to Lusaka on Thursday for the game against the Zambians.
