Nigeria Federation Shows Compassion To Emmanuel Emenike
Published: April 07, 2015
NFF supremo Amaju Pinnick has shown compassion to Emmanuel Emenike over the incident involving Fenerbahce’s team bus after the match against Rizespor this past weekend.
The Yellow Canaries bus was shot at by a yet to be identified gunman but the Nigeria international was not injured in the attack.
“He was happy I called to extend the sympathy of the NFF and Nigeria football family to him, and to assure him that we are with him at this period and also monitoring the situation with keen interest.
“Such incidents are not good for football,” said Amaju Pinnick to thenff.com.
It is believed that Emmanuel Emenike has flown to Italy to link up with his good pal and Super Eagles colleague Joel Obi.
Amaju Pinnick made the call on Monday , presumably from Cairo, where he is attending the CAF Congress.
