Exclusive : Red Bull Salzburg End Pursuit Of Nigeria Under 20s Skipper Musa Mohammed
Published: April 08, 2015
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Red Bull Salzburg have ended their pursuit of Nigeria Under 20 international Musa Mohammed.
It is confirmed that the Austrian Bundesliga side posted a scout to run the rule over the right fullback at the African Youth Championship.
While the 18 - year - old’s performance in the first two matches ticked the right boxes, The Red Bull have decided to pull the plug on his transfer because he was a shadow of himself in the last group game against Ivory Coast.
Red Bull hold the agent in high regard and trust his judgement, having recommended ex Golden Eaglets forward Bright Edomwonyi to the club three years ago.
Musa Mohammed finished last month’s tournament with four goals, all of them coming from the spot.
