Nigeria international Loveth Ayila fancies the Super Falcons chances at the Women’s World Cup which will begin in Canada in the first week of June.
The Rivers Angels star was in the Nigeria Under 20s squad that narrowly lost 1 - 0 to Germany in the final of the Fifa Under 20 World Cup in 2014.
And she has boasted that given the players in the Super Falcons squad, they can emulate or even surpass the achievement of the Falconets.
“I am impressed with this team because the calibre of players in the Super Falcons is bigger than what we had at U-20,” she said to thenff.com.
“I believe with their support I can score more than one goal like I did at the U-20 level.
“I believe we can get to the final because of the calibre of players we have here in the team.
“This is the senior team, not the U-20 so I believe the feat of the U-20 team will be surpassed by the Super Falcons.”
The 20 - year - old Ayila represented Nigeria at Under 17 and Under 20 level before she was promoted to the senior national team.
