Kenneth Ikechukwu Ngwoke Pleased To Score First Goal For Ismaily
Published: April 22, 2015
Kenneth Ikechukwu Ngwoke scored his first goal for Ismaily in his fourth appearance for the Egyptian club on Wednesday evening.
It took the former Yenicami Aäÿdelen S.K man two minutes to open the scoring at the Ismaila Stadium but Salah Rico Atef restored parity for the visitors midway through the first half.
Ngwoke has suggested that he could not find his footing in his first three matches because he was not used as a target man by manager Tarek Yehia.
“As a striker you have to worry when you don’t score goals in games, but in our previous games I was playing from the wings, more in midfield,”said Kenneth Ngwoke to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“But in today’s match I played my position and the goal came.
“The Egyptian League is more stronger than that of Northern Cyprus, the training is hard and every player is hungry to play matches.”
Kenneth Ngwoke signed a four - and - a - half - year contract with Ismaily in the January transfer window.
