Official : Yakubu Aiyegbeni Bids Farewell To Reading

English Championship outfit Reading have announced via their official webpage that the contract of Nigeria international Yakubu Aiyegbeni will not be extended.
The veteran striker arrived the Madejski Stadium hours before the close of the January transfer window, signing a short - term deal that would keep him at Reading until June 30, 2015.
Yakubu Aiyegbeni appeared 11 times for Reading across all tournaments, scoring once in the FA Cup tie against Derby County.
The 32 - year - old previously played for Everton, Leicester City, Middlesbrough, Portsmouth and Blackburn Rovers in England.
Also, he has starred for clubs in China ( Guangzhou R&F), Israel ( Maccabi Haifa) and Qatar (Al-Rayyan SC).
