Eniola Aluko was pleased to be recognized as the best female player at Chelsea in an awards ceremony staged in Battersea Evolution, London last night.<br /><br />The Three Lioness is in Canada ahead of the Fifa World Cup so she wasn<span class="body1">&rsquo;t physically present to pick up her accolade.<br /><br /></span>&ldquo;I am absolutely delighted to have won Chelsea Player of the year last night. Thank you so much to all the players and staff for choosing me.<br /><br />&ldquo;You guys are my continued inspiration.
