John Ogu Extends Hapoel Beer Sheva Contract
Published: May 29, 2015
Combative midfielder John Ogu has extended his contract with Hapoel Beer Sheva for a further four years.
The former Academica and Almeria man will now remain with The Camels until the end of the 2018 - 2019 season if the parties honour the agreement.
The Nigeria international was linked with a move to China in the winter transfer market only for the Super League club to pull out of the deal.
Along with fellow Super Eagle Sunday Mba, Ogu had been recommended to the Chinese team but they preferred him ahead of the former Warri Wolves star and were prepared to pay one million euros to land his signature.
The 27 - year - old Ogu has made 33 appearances for Hapoel Beer Sheva in the topflight.
