Mexican Team Tigres UANL Confirm Ikechukwu Uche Interest

Alejandro Rodriguez, the president of Mexican club, Tigres UANL, has confirmed that the San Nicolás de los Garza based outfit are exploring ways to sign Ikechukwu Uche from Villarreal.
But talks of a deal being imminent are premature as he has acknowledged that an agreement has not been reached, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The Nigerian striker did not travel with The Yellow Submarine on their tour of Australia for post - season friendlies, fueling speculation that a transfer could be in the offing.
The 31 - year - old has spent the last four seasons at Villarreal , scoring 20 goals in his last 53 games in La Liga.
Ikechukwu Uche is under contract with Villarreal until the end of the 2016 - 2017 season.
