Rilwan Hassan has not been picked by newly appointed FC Midtjylland coach, Jess Thorup, for the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round tie against Lincoln Red Imps on Tuesday.
But the winger is not the only Nigerian player that will not feature in this one as striker Paul Onuachu and Babajide David were both omitted from the 18 - man squad.
Sylvester Igboun and Izunna Uzochukwu have completed their moves to the Russian Premier League and have their names deleted from the squad list.
Rilwan Hassan has appeared 7 times in the Europa League for The Wolves, scoring once against The New Saints exactly four years ago.
