Ex Juventus And Ajax Amsterdam Midfielder Sunday Oliseh To Be Unveiled As Nigeria Coach Today

The Nigeria Football Federation has announced through official sources that there is no going back as regards to the appointment of ex Juventus and Ajax Amsterdam midfielder Sunday Oliseh as coach of the National Team.
In the light of the foregoing, the former Super Eagles skipper will be presented to the media and the public on Wednesday, starting from 1100 hours at the Media Centre of the National Stadium, Abuja.
“There is no time to waste. The team has important matches to prosecute in the next few weeks and it is imperative that Oliseh starts work immediately,” NFF General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, said in a press release.
Oliseh will be in the dugout when Nigeria confronts Tanzania in an African Nations Cup qualifier in September, his first assignment as manager of the three - time African champions.
The 40 - year - old starred for Nigeria at the 1994 Afcon and is famous for scoring against Spain at the 1998 World Cup.
