Published: July 26, 2015
Former Flying Eagles star Kayode Olanrewaju was pleased to make his official debut for Austria Vienna in the Bundesliga in their 2 - 0 win over Wolfsberger AC.
Kayode failed to get off the mark for the capital side but was credited with an assist after referee Muckenhammer pointed to the spot after he was felled in the penalty area in the 36th minute.
“I caused a penalty resulting in the first goal of the Violet this year. Winning is the only option. Thanks to God and my well wishers. Feeling good, ” said Kayode Olanrewaju.
Alexander Gorgon and Alexander Grünwald found the back of the net for Austria Vienna.
If selected, Kayode will make his home debut in the league against Rheindorf Altach next Sunday.
