Brian Fok Vows To See Out Shanghai Greenland Shenhua Contract

With the Chinese transfer window closed for business, it is confirmed that Hong Kong youth international Brian Fok is staying put at Shanghai Greenland Shenhua .
A couple of clubs in League One had explored the possibility of signing the defender on loan but were put off by his asking price, according to the player.
“I didn’t get the loan move at the end, my club put up a massive price tag, ” said Brian Fok to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“My contract with Shanghai Greenland Shenhua expires in December 2016 and I plan to run it out now.”
For the time being, Fok is keeping fit by training with the reserve team and has participated in some games after he returned from a loan spell at Spanish side FC Cracks.
“They have a reserve league in China. There is literally very few young players in the reserve league as well.
“That is because China does not use too much youth players, ” he concluded.
Born in Kaduna and a product of Pepsi Academy, Brian Fok wishes to play for Nigeria at senior level.
