Watford Loanee Uche Ikpeazu Rues Draw Against Getafe
Published: July 28, 2015
Watford loanee Uche Ikpeazu, 20, was delighted to feature in Port Vale’s 2 -2 draw with Getafe on Saturday.
However, the Anglo - Nigerian attacker, who was given a run - out in the last 28 minutes by manager Rob Page, was not too pleased with the result after the Spanish team equalized in the second half.
“Good to get 30 minutes against a good La Liga side like Getafe on Saturday. This was unlucky. We thank God though, ”Uche Ikpeazu stated.
Perhaps Port Vale would have won the match if Ikpeazu had increased the tally two minutes before the visitors scored but his powerful drive struck the post.
The Olympic National Team target will be playing at Vale Park until first week of January next year.
