Wolves Goalie Carl Ikeme Buzzing Over Super Eagles Call - Up

Wolverhampton Wanderers shot - stopper Carl Ikeme was buzzing after he
was included in Nigeria’s provisional squad list for an African Cup of
Nations qualifier for the second time in his career.
Back in 2007, German coach Berti Vogts had considered him for the Super Eagles, handing him a call - up for an Afcon qualifier against Uganda but the Anglo - Nigerian did not make the final list.
“Very excited to be involved in my first Nigeria squad !! Thank you for all your kind messages and support ð���ð��¾ , ” the 29 - year - old Ikeme said on Twitter.
“Thanks again for all your kind messages people ð���ð��½ð���.”
Carl Ikeme is the only foreign - based player that plies his trade outside the top division that made the 18 - man list.
