Only five players that were named in the starting line- up in the Super Eagles African Cup of Nations qualifier against Tanzania last weekend will start Tuesday’s international friendly against Niger Republic.
William Troost - Ekong, Moses Simon, Lukman Haruna, Emmanuel Emenike and Kingsley Madu will start from the bench while Amkar Perm midfielder Izunna Uzochukwu is not available for selection due to a groin complaint.
If coach Sunday Oliseh does not make last minute changes to the line - up, Carl Ikeme is set to earn his second cap and providing cover for the Wolves netminder are Kenneth Omeruo, Chima Akas, Solomon Kwambe and Godfrey Oboabona.
AS Trencin’s Rabiu Ibrahim has been handed the playmaking duties ahead of Lukman Haruna and he is joined in midfield by Usman Mohammed and Obiora Nwankwo.
