Ikechukwu Uche Out For Maximum Of Two Weeks
Published: September 29, 2015
Tigres UANL attacker Ikechukwu Uche received good news from club medics on Monday after undergoing an MRI scan following an injury he picked up in the 2 - 1 win over Isidro Metapán in the CONCACAF Champions League.
Doctors diagnosed that the Nigeria international picked up a muscle strain injury and not a serious muscle injury that was earlier envisaged.
Thus, the summer arrival from Villarreal will be out of action for a maximum of two weeks assuming he does not suffer a relapse during his rehabilitation, which he has started.
As a result of the minor ailment, Ikechukwu Uche will not be called - up for games against Puebla and Atlas in the Liga but will be considered for selection in Tigres UANL’s first game after the international break against Pachuca on October 18.
The Super Eagles star is yet to make his debut for Tigres UANL in the league three months after joining the club.
