Official : Chidi Omeje Renews His AFC United Vows

Through a statement published on their official webpage, AFC United have announced that Chidi Omeje has been rewarded for his imperious display during the 2015 season, with the striker penning a fresh two - year deal with the Superettan club.
The new contract keeps the former Dalkurd and Vejle star at Skytteholms IP, Solna, Stockholm until the end of the 2017 season.
“Chidi has done fantastically well this year and he has certainly shown that he can play at a higher level, ” sporting director Azad Budak told afcunited.se.
“He has been a key player this year and he has also served as an exemplary example of professionalism and character.
“We are happy to keep him and we think he will take another leap next season. ”
Omeje was the top scorer for AFC United in the just concluded season, with 10 goals in 23 appearances.
