Official : Boyd Okwuonu, Rasheed Olabiyi Remain With MLS Clubs

United States Under 23 international Boyd Okwuonu will be spending his second consecutive season on the books of Major League Soccer side Real Salt Lake in 2016.
The Claret and Cobalt have announced via their official webpage that they have exercised their contract option on the defender as well as six other players that were in their ranks during the 2015 campaign.
The Oklahoma native was a bit - part player for Real Salt Lake in 2015, making only one start over the course of the season while he featured twice off the bench.
Okwuonu was loaned out to affiliate club Real Monarchs in March and suited up 12 times for the USL team.
It is confirmed that ex Enyimba midfielder Rasheed Olabiyi will remain at Houston Dynamo for now, until an announcement on his status is made before the start of next season.
The 25 - year - old totaled seven appearances in the MLS in 2015.
