Victor Osimhen Makes First Start, As Siasia Names Starting XI To Face Algeria

Dream Team VI coach, Samson Siasia, has made two changes to his starting XI for the final of the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations against Algeria at the Stade Léopold Sédar Senghor, Dakar, starting from 2000 hours.
For the first time in the tournament, Golden Eaglets sensation Victor Osimhen will play from the beginning of proceedings as he has been preferred in attack ahead of Kufre, while skipper Azubuike Okechukwu returns to the line - up after serving a one - match ban.
Otherwise, the team picks itself, with goalkeeper Emmanuel Daniel starting his fifth consecutive game, while Ndifreke, Seth, Amaefule and Oduduwa start in defense.
Usman Mohammed and Azubuike Okechukwu are the two midfielders that will protect the backline, with Etebo Oghenekaro operating as an attacking midfielder.
