Exclusive : Agent Dismisses Reports Linking Musa Yahaya With FC Porto And Move To Portugal
Published: December 26, 2015
Reports linking Flying Eagles dazzler Musa Yahaya with a possible transfer to Portuguese setup Porto in the January transfer window are wide of the mark, according to the player’s bonafide intermediary Babawo Mohammed.
The Jos - based agent has stressed that only Tottenham Hotspur will decide the next step in the midfielder’s career, with a shift to Spanish side Celta de Vigo still on the cards.
“Musa is still going to Celta Vigo. Why will he go to FC Porto? He can’t have any trial while he is going on loan, ” said Babawo Mohammed to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“Tottenham Hotspur said they will decide where he’ll go in January which has not been done yet. ”
The 18 - year - old Musa Yahaya was due to sign a professional deal with Spurs on January 2, 2016 but will now be farmed out on loan by the Londoners after failing to secure a work permit.
