Nigeria Under 23 international Zaharadeen Bello is in talks with Portuguese Primeira Liga side Boavista ahead of the opening of the January transfer window.
However, his agent Babawo Mohammed has hinted that central defender may continue playing for Kano Pillars next season if his move to the Estádio do Bessa does not materialize.
“Zaharadeen Bello was on loan at Kano Pillars last season, if they are interested in keeping him we will renegotiate with them, ” said Babawo Mohammed to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“We have an invitation from Boavista of Portugal for him to undergo trials, we are trying to get the visa before he proceeds for the trials.”
Bello, who was a member of the Dream Team squad at the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations, recently turned 18 and can sign a professional deal with a foreign club.
Nigeria national - teamers Uche Nwofor and Reuben Gabriel are on the books of Boavista.
