Exclusive : Michael Babatunde Rejects Move To Raja Casablanca, Wants $500K Per Season
Published: January 06, 2016
According to information gathered by allnigeriasoccer.com’s editorial staff, Michael Babatunde rejected a move to Raja Casablanca in the winter transfer market after the Moroccan Botola Pro side were unable to meet his salary requirement.
The Greens are in the market for an attacking midfielder and considered offering Babatunde a contract but the deal met a brick wall after the free agent and his intermediary Nureni Makanjuola demanded $500,000 per season from the club.
Nureni Makanjuola had claimed that he already had an offer from an unnamed team in Europe and wanted Raja Casablanca to at least match their offer.
Babatunde, who starred for Nigeria at the 2014 World Cup, is looking for a new club after parting company with Dnipro by mutual consent last month.
