Exclusive : Chisom Chikatara To Spark Bidding War Between Wydad And Raja Casablanca
Published: January 20, 2016
Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that Wydad Casablanca have set the ball rolling for a summer deal for Abia Warriors sensation Chisom Chikatara.
The 18 - time Moroccan champions would have launched a bid for the Nigeria international in the January transfer window but the striker’s participation at the African Nations Championship proved a stumbling block.
Botola Pro rivals Raja Casablanca have openly courted Chisom Chikatara and it is understood that the President of the club, Mohamed Boudrika, is in Rwanda in his capacity as the Vice President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation.
Boudrika has had a chat with the Super Eagles rising star over the possibility of joining the Green in the summer.
Zamalek (Egypt) and Turkish duo Boluspor and Balıkesirspor are all keen on Chikatara, who announced his arrival on the world stage with a memorable hat-trick against Niger Republic at the ongoing CHAN.
