Chelsea Loanee Moses Starts, Arsenal Young Star Iwobi Benched As Siasia Refuses To Change Tactics
Published: March 29, 2016
The Super Eagles coach Samson Siasia has made three changes to the side that tackled Egypt in Kaduna on Friday evening for today’s reverse fixture in Alexandria.
A review of the lineup published by the Nigerian Federation revealed that the former Nantes striker will still play with the same tactics he used in Kaduna.
Chippa United netminder Daniel Akpeyi will be in between the pipes while the same back four that featured at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium keep their starting shirts.
But there is a change in the midfield, with Umar Aminu getting the nod of Siasia ahead of Manchester City young star Kelechi Iheanacho, while Mikel Obi and Oghenekaro Etebo retained their places.
CSKA Moscow frontman Ahmed Musa, Chelsea loanee Victor Moses and Watford marksman Odion Ighalo are saddled with the responsibility of providing the goals for the Super Eagles.
Nigeria Starting XI : Akpeyi, Shehu, Amuzie, Ambrose, Oboabona, Mikel Obi, Etebo, Aminu, Musa, V. Moses, Ighalo
Substitutes : Echiejile, Iheanacho, Azubuike, Simon, Ezenwa, Onazi, Iwobi
