84TH Minute Curse ! West Ham Dazzler Victor Moses Gutted Not To Qualify
Published: March 30, 2016
West Ham creator Victor Moses has expressed his disappointment after the Super Eagles were knocked out of the qualifying race for the 2017 African Cup of Nations following their 1-0 loss to Egypt on Tuesday.
Just like the first leg in Kaduna, Moses, a former England youth-teamer, put up a spectacular performance at the Borg El Arab Stadium and would have capped off a fine display if his astonishing long range effort had not struck the post.
At the Ahmadu Bello Stadium on March 25th, Moses would have netted a very crucial goal for the Super Eagles but saw his effort cleared off the line by Hamada Tolba in the 84th minute, the same time he hit the post in the reverse fixture.
“Gutted for the result. We gave everything and will be back stronger. Thanks for your support #Nigeria,” Victor Moses posted on Twitter.
Victor Moses, 25, is expected to be in action this weekend in the Premier League against his former club Crystal Palace.
