Aston Villa Will Not Impose Additional Sanctions On Agbonlahor Over Trip To Dubai
Published: April 05, 2016
Aston Villa have concluded their investigation on reports that claimed that former England international of Nigerian descent, Gabby Agbonlahor, was caught smoking and drinking while holidaying in Dubai during the international break.
The striker had been suspended pending the outcome of the investigation, and this made him unavailable for selection for last weekend’s 4-0 loss to Chelsea.
Agbonlahor is now in the frame to face Bournemouth on April 9, with Aston Villa revealing on Tuesday morning via their official Twitter page that the Club will be taking no further action.
This season, Gabby, 29, has 15 games under his belt in the Premier League, scoring once against Norwich City in February.
