Published: April 11, 2016
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Oghenekaro Etebo had his first training session with Clube Desportivo Feirense on Monday, twenty four hours after arriving in Portugal from Lagos to join his new employer.
The Nigeria international was accompanied on the trip to Portugal by the majority shareholder of CD Feirense, Kunle Soname, who is the Chairman of sports betting site Bet9ja.
On arrival in Portugal on Sunday, Etebo and Soname headed straight for the Estádio Municipal 25 de Abril and watched the Segunda Liga clash between CD Feirense and Penafiel from the stands.
If he passes a routine medical prior to Wednesday evening’s game against Varzim, the former Warri Wolves star could make his competitive debut.
The attacking midfielder joins compatriots Dele Alampasu and Sunday Emmanuel at CD Feirense.
