Lukman Haruna Explains What Went Wrong With His Move To KairatAstana new signing Lukman Haruna has revealed that he was on the brink of penning a deal with another Kazakhstan Premier League team Kairat before the close of the transfer window but could not agree terms with the club.

Though the Nigeria international has refused to go into detail regarding the talks held with Kairat, it was reported that
he demanded 1.2 million euros per season , which was termed unrealistic by the Almaty-based club.

“I spent a few workouts in Kairat, but in the end our negotiations reached an impasse.  I would not like to comment on that specifically,” said Haruna to sports.kz.

“Now I am a player of Astana and want to do everything I can to help my team to perform tasks.”

Lukman Haruna will remain on loan at Astana for three months from Dynamo Kiev, his intermediary Greg Keenan has informed allnigeriasoccer.com.
